Review: linking words
Linking words são palavras e expressões que nos ajudam a
conectar ideias e informações entre frases e parágrafos,
podendo aplicar sentidos variados, como adição e oposição de
ideias, comparações, sequências de acontecimentos e
consequências. Vamos rever a seguinte fala do estudante
indiano:
“There are hundreds of languages in the world, so it’s not
possible for someone to learn half of all of these languages.”
Perceba que a palavra “so” liga a primeira e a segunda oração.
