 WHAT IS FAFSA?
FAFSA is the Free Application for Federal Student Aid and is the best way for
college students to get financial aid in the form of Pell Grants, Work Study, and
Student Loans. Eligibility is determined by income, assets, and tax information.
Who should fill out FAFSA? Everyone! In addition to the opportunities mentioned
above, many scholarships require the FAFSA. FAFSA money can be used at Colleges,
Universities and Technical Colleges.

The FAFSA application for aid during the 2024-25 school year opens December 31

START WITH CREATING FSA ID

You will need an FSA ID to login and complete FAFSA
Start here: https://studentaid.gov/fsa-id/create-account/launch

Parents and student will need FSA ID’s to do

the FAFSA application. If parents don’t have a
Social Security number students can still do
the FAFSA. That process will be available soon.

If you need help creating your FSA ID come to

the Library during lunch on Wednesday,
December 6th. You will need:
Social Security Number
Non-School Email Address
Address
Phone Number
Date of Birth

 ¿QUÉ ES LA FAFSA?
FAFSA es la Solicitud Gratuita de Ayuda Federal para Estudiantes y es la mejor
manera para que los estudiantes universitarios obtengan ayuda financiera en forma
de Becas Pell, Trabajo y Estudio y Préstamos para Estudiantes. La elegibilidad está
determinada por los ingresos, los activos y la información fiscal.
¿Quién debería completar la FAFSA? ¡Todos! Además de las oportunidades
mencionadas anteriormente, muchas becas requieren la FAFSA. El dinero de la
FAFSA se puede utilizar en colegios, universidades y escuelas técnicas.

La solicitud FAFSA para ayudas durante el ciclo escolar 2024-25 abre el 31 de
