Digital EL CID
…represents the latest technology in EL CID testing.
With fully digital processing Digital EL CID produces results that have an improved clarity, especially noticeable
when the results have been acquired in a noisy environment. This improved processing power also makes it
possible for Digital EL CID to gather phase and quadrature information at the same time, providing a greater level
of information in a shorter time. Apart from all the improvements to the processor the performance of the Digital
EL CID has also been enhanced by the inclusion of the Manual Trolley with encoder as standard and an External
Reference Coil that clips on the excitation winding leaving the stator core free from obstruction.
When it comes to comparing historic data for trend evaluation the Integral Sense Head Calibration Unit on the
Digital EL CID ensures each test is carried out at the same sensitivity level. This digital technology also makes it
possible to transfer the result directly to a PC for instant storage and analysis enabling you to minimise downtime
by quickly determining the actions required based on reliable and comprehensive information.
