The Drug Development Masterclass will provide you with an
overview of the pharmaceutical landscape, showcasing the

strategic considerations for early phase assets.

feature in the biopharmaceutical development lifecycle, from target
identification and validation to the optimisation of drug candidates.

therapeutic use and translated into clinical development.

Week 2: The Life Cycle of Medicine: From Concept to Market

Affairs w/ Roche
Friday 27th October
1pm – 2pm
The Pharmaceutical Regulatory Affairs workshop will introduce
you to the important role that regulatory affairs play in bringing
new treatments to patients.
Your will hear how regulatory affairs teams help to ensure that
drug development and clinical research are conducted in a safe
and ethical way, in accordance with all relevant regulations,
monitoring each drug throughout its entire lifecycle.

Once a drug has been launched, the regulatory affairs team

collect and analyse data on any side effects or adverse events
that are reported, working with regulatory bodies to ensure that
drugs remain safe and effective.
