To achieve innovative pharmaceutical development and
Drug Development commercial success, multidisciplinary teams work together across
Masterclass: Careers the entire product lifecycle from development to post-approval
across the Pharmaceutical regulation.

This presents a diverse range of career opportunities both within
Tuesday 24th October and beyond the laboratory.
1pm – 2pm
The Drug Development Masterclass will provide you with an
overview of the pharmaceutical landscape, showcasing the
multifunctional teams involved in drug development, as well as the
strategic considerations for early phase assets.

You will be introduced to the key activities and stakeholders within


drug development, exploring how scientists progress from lead
candidate to phase 1 readiness and beyond, complying with
regulatory requirements.

The Pharmaceutical Regulatory Affairs workshop will introduce
Pharmaceutical Regulatory you to the important role that regulatory affairs play in bringing
Affairs w/ Roche new treatments to patients.
Friday 27th October
Your will hear how regulatory affairs teams help to ensure that
1pm – 2pm drug development and clinical research are conducted in a safe
and ethical way, in accordance with all relevant regulations,
monitoring each drug throughout its entire lifecycle.

Once a drug has been launched, the regulatory affairs team


collect and analyse data on any side effects or adverse events
that are reported, working with regulatory bodies to ensure that
drugs remain safe and effective.

leader in both in-vitro diagnostics and tissue-based cancer
diagnostics, in addition to being a frontrunner in diabetes
management.
