A challenging life.

Sometimes people read biographies, stories or memories about famous personalities and even though I am not

one, believe me if you arrive to this point it is going to be interesting. My place of birth is Bogotá a town

where I grew up and I have lived all my life. My nuclear family is making up by my mother because my

parents are divorced more than twenty years ago.

My father lives in a small town near to Bogotá. My siblings are from another household, and we did not grow

up together, however we started to share in the last ten years.

One of the most important memories of my childhood was when we traveled together to Cartagena with my

grandmother, parents, siblings, aunts and some cousins. I remember this date because it was the happiest

moment in my early years and the only time that greater majority of my family was together, but as we all

know life has happy moments although sad ones and shortly after my grandmother passed away.

Already in my youth and after I finished high school I decided to attend university at Business School. I tried

to make an effort to stand out in my studies and get a good position in a private company, but time would

show me a different destiny. After a few years of working in medium and small companies I decided to

change my professional focus and started my teaching career where I was in the last 8 years.

And in what manner life has an incredible way of teaching us what is the best, this year I had the opportunity

to go abroad by the first time and travel to study English in the United States. Now I am living here in

Elizabeth an interesting city near to New York. I live with a wonderful old lady from Colombia who is always

attentive and fully supportive, so I don't miss my country so much. Finally, I wish these months will allow me

to find the best path for the future and the wellbeing of my family.
