The author, Levkoich and Labels, discusses that depression can be caused by too much pressure
or neglect from their parents. The authors explain the reasons why people at a young age go
through depression and what changes they can expect to go through. In all, they explained that
depression can be unexpected and can be in different ways such as anxiety, neglect or even
When someone goes through depression, they don't want to go out, eat, or get out of bed.
Depression is a challenging stage to get out of when you have no one to help support you in any
way as possible. Levkoich and Labels explain that depression affects not only themselves but
also the people who support them. The authors explain that living with at least two people who
have depression in the same household is at risk of increasing distress and there mental illness.
This can affect their social life or even their ability to be comfortable in their own household. In
the article, the authors explain that depression is hard to get out of, and having the right people
get depression is not easy. This helps my research by understanding depression is a challenging
stage to get out of, especially when someone in the same household who has depression can lack
the support as they might not get the proper treatment. This information can help my research by

The author of the article, Sheng, talks about how young adults overwhelm themselves with
school and work. The arthur discusses that they might overwork themselves and lack the
attention they might need. Some of the reasons why young adults get depression is that they live
alone and have no one to talk to. Sheng explains that young adults find it easier to smoke to calm
down their nerves. She also talks about how if the person were a smoker already, they would
most likely be a drinker. Some people who overcome depression would fear lost towards their
Having depression can be a difficult time to go through as well; knowing that people can get hurt
on the way may be easier if you have the people you care most about be there for you. People
may push you away, but if they really care, they wouldn't leave. Sheng made a good point that
focusing on oneself and having the support you need, even if it's from your parents, can make a
significant impact on a person's life. Depression can help you see who it actually is for you, and
it can be a life lesson to someone as it can indicate what you have lost and help you build a bond
with the people who stick by your side. Young adults, college students, can be in their most
stressful age period as some have to do adulthood themselves or feel overwhelmed trying to do
things themselves. This helps my research by having the people you really care about can help
you through the most challenging times and can make a massive impact on the way depression

Ümmühan, the authour of the article, explain that elders feel depressed as they lose the people
they care about but feel more sad when they are in the retirement home. Elders like to see their
family and their grandchildren as it can make them feel loved by their loved ones, which can
make them feel less depressed. The author also explains that elders don't really have people who
visit them or talk to them, which increases depression, and some people may view them as
grumpy old person. As the author also thrilly explains that elders can get depression because of
the medication that they take and the side effects. Ümmühan explains that approximately 15% of
those over 65 suffer from depression, which can cause stress and pain to the elders. Elders who
suffer from depression can add to their medication and health problems as it can increase their
anxiety levels.
This research can help me understand that elders suffer the most; they don't really have anyone to
be beside them. Having to take all their medication and the side effects cause depression, and not
having people to look out for them helps them go into more depression. They are not having the
care and entertainment that a person could get when they're with their loved ones. Depression
can be a complicated situation to get out of; just having the support and care you need can really
help out. As Ümmühan explains more in their research, she explains that doing activities and
finding a hobby help a person a lot by reducing stress. Talking with someone or writing down
what your'er feel is one of the best ways to reduce stress and anxiety. Releasing stress and

Zhengyang made a good discussion as having the proper meal can give a person with a proper
mindset. Getting the appropriate meal a day can help you stay focused and give you a goal.
Eating a decent meal can make a person not feel as drained and can make a person feel relaxed.
Although people with depression tend to commit suicide, there are other ways to help a person
out of that mindset. Depression can cause financial problems and to their social life. Zhengyang
made an explanation that depression can be genetic and is harder to get out of since almost
everyone has depression and does not get the proper care as they should. Having someone with
depression beside you can be a good outcome as they can understand what you going through,
but can be a bad thing as sometimes depression can make a person not want to talk, eat, shower,
This can help my research as having the emotional support that a person may need can help out
in a way a person can't describe. Many people leave the person alone in their lowest moments,
which can increase anxiety and pain in their depression. While the person helps them through the
most challenging time, it helps them keep track of their food and hygiene, as some people with
depression wouldn't eat or take a shower. Research shows that having a support animal can help

Intervention to the Behavioural Activation Treatment of Depression.” PLoS ONE, vol. 18, no. 7,
that doing breathing exercises can help with depression as it can make you feel more relaxed and
reduce the person's stress levels. They also explain that at least a seven-hour sleep can make a
person feel less anxious. The author explains that some individuals deny treatment as they think
they are worthless or not worth helping they tend to push everyone away, and this can affect the
person life lifestyle. People who do not get the proper treatment can push them to the edge or can
make them realize that people are still there for them. This research that Alexandru studied can
make people understand that having someone beside them can help them understand that they are
not alone or neglected by the world. Alexander thurly explains that depression can happen while
a person feel happy but changes change instantly as they are left alone for a long period of time.
All in all, this informa from all my resources help me understand that people come and go but
having someone beside you can make a huge impact on a person. Depression is a serious, scary
illness as there are different types of illnesses its not something that a person can control. This
illness can happen to everyone and be unexpected. Depression can significantly change a person
as it makes them close up and not trust people. It changed their point of view not only towards
