Target no longer carries the King, my preferred choice, it was

replaced by a new design, Icon which is roughly 100 grams heavier.
The colored Icon has a plastic sleeve instead of paint, which should
be more durable, but may crack if dropped. The Icon has a practical
grip bottom, unlike the the King which is prone to dents, a cosmetic
issue. Perhaps the Stainless Steel would be lighter in reality as it is
without the plastic sleeve. The weight distribution on the Icon is
mostly focused on the neck. The neck of the Icon is taller and
features different threads for the bowl part. Additionally, the bowl is
wider, which could pose challenges for those with small or weak
hands. On the other hand, the increased size allows for using the
bowl for eating, which was not practical with with the King's smaller
bowl. The black lid of the Icon has a pressure relief stopper, which
may collect gunk and be harder to clean compared to the King.
Unfortunately, I couldn't find any information about the specific
duration for which the Icon keeps food cold or hot. In contrast, the
King was listed as capable of maintaining cold temperatures for 14
hours and hot temperatures for 9 hours. It's possible that the plastic
sleeve on the Icon could contribute to better insulation and keep
food at the desired temperature for a longer time. It would be
helpful if Thermos provided more details on this. Considering these
factors before the new school year starts in a couple of months.

Buying food on the Amtrak Train is expensive. This will save me a lot
