On November 15, 2023, a Teams meeting was held with representatives from Bhumijo and WaterAid Bangladesh to discuss World Toilet Day. They reviewed the terms of reference, decided to create a concept note in Bengali, and planned to have at least 10-15 members attend the launch event. They also discussed arranging pre-workshops with operators to understand challenges and gather feedback to include in the concept note.

They also discussed arranging pre-workshops with operators to understand challenges and gather feedback to include in the concept note.
The following topics were discussed on the meeting:
● The existing ToR is good to go. ● A concept note is to be prepared from ToR in Bengali. ● At least 10-15 members need to be there while launching ● A pre-workshop has to be arranged with other operators to know their challenges and keep a document of those to include in the concept note. ● Instead of a logo, it was suggested by Hasin apa that a tagline of 2-3 words should be prepared in Bengali. It will represent the network in a more appropriate way. ● Need to involve/invite ‘আঞ্চলিক নির্বাহী কর্মকর্ত া’ ● If pre-workshop is not possible for the lack of time, individual meetings can be arranged gathering 2-3 operators together. Meeting with the operators informally, their challenges and feedback can be gathered and included in the keynote presentation. ● Membership forms will be circulated soon. During the pre-workshop or informal meet up, membership forms should be filled up by the operators and leaseholders. ● Leaseholders list to be collected from DSCC. Bhumijo will try to gather the list and share with the network. If other members have access to the list, are encouraged to do so. ● Operators and relevant people’s attendance in the event will be the main priority. ● Commitment towards contributing to assigned works from Network members is very important. ● Need to search as many public toilet operators as possible.
