On November 12, 2023 a meeting took place through Teams on World Toilet Day.

In the
meeting, the following people were present.

3. KA Amin, Project Coordinator, Wateraid Bangladesh
4. Plabon Ganguly, SNV
5. Sifat Apa, DSK
6. Julkar Naine Khan Ankon, Sr. Executive, Marketing & Executive, Bhumijo

The following points were discussed on the meeting:

Membership

● Farhana Apu was decided as the Network’s spokesperson as Wateraid and SNV are
not operators and it would be better to have the Spokesperson from the Network.
● We decided to target at least 10 members to lay the foundation of the PTSN.
● Leaseholders were considered to be the members. In that case, both individual and
company can be eligible to be a member.
● A membership form will be created and shared with all the members.
● All members must fill up the membership form
● Membership benefits will be discussed with the leaseholders to have more members.
● Keynote speech will be delivered by the Network’s spokesperson
● Bhumijo will try to bring 3 leaseholders whereas SNV will ensure the participation of
representatives from Kushtia and Jhenidah.
● Structure of the network will be discussed further
● SWEEP and Clean & Care can be considered as members of PTSN

Logo

● Bhumijo will share one logo for PTSN and there will be voting to select the logo by
13/11/23
● Plabon Da will present another logo.

MoU Signing, Vendor Selection & Committee

● We have to review and finalise the MoU

● Vendors will submit their quotations by 15th November. RFQ has already been
floated to networks.
● Wateraid will hire the vendor.
● There will be a committee & sub-committee. Plabon Da will be in-charge of forming it.
Amin bhai and Ankon will help Plabon Da.
● A temporary designer will be hired until the vendor is hired. The temporary designer
will deliver Banners, posters, Gate Designs, Branding etc for the event.
● The designer will need content. So, we need to send the contents to Amin bhai as
soon as possible.
Guest List

● Bhumijo will prepare their guestlist by today (12/11/23)

● For making the guest list, it is advised to to focus on public toilet service providers
together.
● Masud bhai will help in bringing the guests.
● Participation of 10-15 leaseholders and at least 2 Public Toilet Management
Committee (PTMC) will be ensured by Masud bhai.
● Chief Guest- DNCC Mayor Atiqul Islam- Confirmed

● If Mayor can not make it to the program, Additional Secretary (from Special Guest)
will become the Chief Guest
● On behalf of the Network, Plabon Da/SNV will invite participants from their network
● Gifts for guests: It was discussed that the budget per person is BDT. 1000.
● Gift Items; Inside a goodie bag, there will be a diary, a pen, a t-shirt, water bottle and
a badge with the network logo.

Program Schedule

● It was discussed that short documentaries can be shown in the LED screen as filler.
● If anyone from the network has any relevant video, please share so that it can be
shown during the event.
● A new video content of length 1-2 minutes can be produced on public toilet service.
● Amin bhai will share the ToR soon.
● User testimonial bytes were discussed. As an option, some users can be invited to
the event as well.
● Bhumijo will shoot some user testimonial videos that can be shown during the event
● If any speaker wants to give a presentation, we will collect his presentation
beforehand so that our designer can edit it in our program theme so that it looks
good.
● During the speech of different stakeholders, PTMC/ leaseholders can be given a floor
to talk and share their experience.
