 Theme: “Business and Technology”
❖ Consumer preference towards digital transactions have prioritized
technology spending in transformation of businesses. Various
industries have allocated more resources for the development of
their digital assets, including websites, communication platforms,
and applications.
❖ The ongoing pandemic has pushed the acceleration of technology
adoption, with sectors like tourism, retail, education, and many
others being heavily impacted. Innovative solutions have emerged
these past few years, thus slowly changing consumer behavior in
different market sectors.

PARTICIPANTS’ CRITERIA

❖ Participants should be students between grade 10 - grade 12.

❖ Participants should currently be enrolled in a high school in Indonesia.
❖ Participants should be in a group of 2-4 from the same school.
❖ Participants should choose one team leader and a team name.
❖ Each school can send a maximum of 5 teams.
❖ Each team should have an adult supervisor from their respective schools.
❖ Participants should complete the registration form.
❖ Participants will get a certificate participation from UWA.
Video Submission
Create a business idea based on the theme and record a 1-minute pitch.
Criteria of Evaluation:
❖ Originality: Does the business already exist? How is it the same or different from existing ideas?
❖ Relevance: Is the idea applicable to solve issues in today’s society? Is there a clear impact to the target
audience?
❖ Delivery of idea: How creative is the presentation? Does the delivery engage the audience? How
effective is the use of presentation aids?
❖ Feasibility: Is the idea realistic (time, budget, resources)? Is it possible to develop a clear
implementation plan?

❖ The video must be in English.

❖ The video should be maximum 1GB and the format is .MP4

 Finalists
❖ 5 teams will be selected for the final round. The announcement
will be through email and instagram @tmcollege_id.
❖ All finalists will be assigned industry professionals as mentors
before the final presentation.
❖ Assignment of mentors will take place after announcement of
finalists.
❖ Finalists are responsible to schedule mentoring sessions before
the final round.

Final
❖ The final event will take place on Saturday, 5th March 2022, at 10.00 WIB.
❖ The event will be a live virtual event via Zoom.
❖ Finalists must submit their presentation (in English) by latest two days before
the final event. Details will follow after announcement of finalists.
❖ Finalists will have a maximum of 15 minutes presentation (in English) + 10
minutes QnA.
❖ The judges will consist of a UWA representative, a TMC representative, and a
guest judge.
❖ The announcement of result will be given live after all presentations.
PRIZES FOR WINNERS

▪ 1st winner: Cash Money IDR 8,000,000 & certificate from UWA.

▪ 2nd Winner: Cash Money IDR 5,000,000 & certificate from UWA.

▪ 3rd winner: Cash Money IDR 3,000,000 & certificate from UWA.

+ All finalists will get a scholarship from TM College 20% per person.
