2496435 - Status inconsistency: update from EWM is not happening in ECC

Component: SCM-EWM-IF-ERP-DLP (Interface ERP Delivery Processing), Version: 8, Released On: 06.04.2021

Symptom
You observe that an ECC delivery doesn't have the same situation as its counterpart in EWM. Typically,
In EWM a delivery has completed status but the ECC delivery's status is still open;
In EWM a delivery has been zeroed out but the ECC delivery still has requirement quantity;
In EWM a delivery has been split but the ECC delivery split is not found;
In EWM a delivery split item has been deleted but the ECC delivery still has the split item;

Environment
SAP Supply Chain Management (SCM), Extended Warehouse Management (EWM)
SAP ERP Central Components

Resolution
As long as there is no proof that queues were deleted/saved as mentioned in SAP Note 2375304, SAP Support will manually
correct the erronous situation. However due to the high risk of data inconsistency, we can not communicate the detailed steps
for your self-service purpose yet. The EWM update sent to ERP have a fixed set of order; in case this order is not kept, no
further processing is possible on ERP side. Some updates sent in an invalid order can cause stock inconsistencies on ERP side.
On the other hand, from our investigation so far, we can see EWM has sent the update information correctly but the update
during ECC inbound did not happen as expected. To collect more technical information, you can activate the QRFC trace and
log in ECC:
Start transaction SMQ2, Execute
Menu: QRFC-> Trace-> Activate Trace-> input queue name DLW*
Menu: QRFC-> Log-> Activate Log-> input queue name DLW*
When the issue reoccurs, please let us know the affected delivery number with open connections to both systems.

See Also
Ensure that delivery completion is set to 9 (DCO is completed), otherwise refer to KBA 2594894 for outbound delivery
documents.
If it is an inbound delivery with Putway status completed but DCO status is not 9, check if customizing 'Delay in Completion
of Inbound Deliveries' is activated (EWM transaction SPRO->Extended Warehouse Management->Goods Receipt Process-
>Inbound Delivery->Define Delay in Completion of Inbound Deliveries).
