This study aims to produce guided inquiry-based worksheets that are tested for validity, practicality, and effectiveness so it can be used as teaching materials. Stages in this worksheets consist of
orientation, exploration, concept formation, application, and closing. The research was conducted using the Research and Development (R & D) model. The development model used is a 4-D model
JOURNA L CONTENT (define, design, develop, and disseminate). These guided inquiry-based worksheets were validated by 5 validators and tested on 4 high school chemistry teachers and 24 students of grade XI IPA of
Search SMA N 1 2X11 Enam Lingkung in the academic year 2017/2018. The validity analysis result showed the moment kappa of 0.81 with a very high category. The practicality analysis result test of the
teacher and student response questionnaire obtained the moment kappa values of 0.79 and 0.82 with high and very high categories. In the effectiveness test, 67% of students obtained scores above
the Minimum Completeness Criteria and based on gain scores students from learning outcomes before and after using worksheets were 0.44 in the moderate category and the average of activity

students at each meeting was 79.29% with effective categories. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the guided inquiry-based worksheets produced have been valid, practical, and
