Activity 1

From revieing my personal test scores from grit survey, it was fully accurate for me. Personally,

I am deeply passionate and persevering. My score was a 3.0 but I believe it could be much

higher at some points. Grit is a determining factor for your success because it allows you to

view how someone else would view the way you do things and ways for better. By what you are

doing you can be passionate and persevere about how you do and run things in your everyday

life. With grit it allows you to see how a person grows. Overall determination is to better the

score and changing the way I approach and deal with problems.

With the concepts on grit in mind I hope to keep working and try not to get distracted by other

events happening in my life. I also plan to not give up when it may be incredibly challenging to

have a clear view and understanding of the way I work and achieve things in daily life. Where I

am right now with my writing ability, personally getting better being able to use different word

choices when it comes to writing. At the end of the semester, I hope to be able to use different

writing approaches and try to use unfamiliar words and formats I am not remarkably familiar
with. Throughout the semester I plan to be able to identify new understandings of English and

how it is effectively use.

Personally, I feel like I can try to put myself out there and ask for more help when I feel like I

cannot accomplish what I am trying to instead of giving up. Hopefully, finding new ways to

handle multiple things at once and managing it. Learning new ways in how to become a better

listener so I can obtain all the facts I can while I am in both English 101 and English 101-lab. To

set goals and be motivated to set them when it comes to learning about the subject. The focus

is to stay on track and manage all my work in ways I can accomplish all the work given. Grit is

the way to track your progress as you learn new ways and approaches dealing with growth.

Using all the determination and perseverance it is better to use it as a motivational view of

what can be worked on.
