Dear Mr.

McCorkle,

I would like to thank you again for allowing me the opportunity of interning at the rec center this

semester. Since we first met, you have looked out for me and always had my best interest at

heart when it came to my future. Interning at the center I’ve learned a lot of things not just about

the operations but a lot about myself that I feel like will further my personal growth going forward

with my career choice. I will miss the time I had tutoring the kids after school and playing

basketball with them afterwards. I really connected with them and they are very bright children

and remind me of my younger siblings and cousins. I plan to attend some of the youth games

coming up and look forward to catching up with you and the kids again. I appreciate everything

you have taught me and I am grateful for everything I have learned.
