FR53.8 (LH/RH) during maintenance / repair tasks.

2nd Step: Tighten systems with the appropriate torque:


Tighten systems 98F07203020100, 98F07203020102 and 98F07203020104 with the
specific tool 98F07203020208 which can be found on the fitting.

SYSTEMS TORQUE VALUE is 80 Nm

3nd Step: Tighten screws with the appropriate torque:


Tighten in three steps and respect the tightening order (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9) for
each step:
ƒ 80% of final tighten value
ƒ 100% of final tighten value
ƒ 100% of final tighten value (second pass)

SCREW TORQUE VALUE is 120 Nm

GENERAL SECTION
- MANUFACTURE A TEST PLATE WITH REQUIERMENTS AS FOLLOW:
-TEST PLATE MUST BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH FITTING INTERFACE SHAPE (SHAPE TOLERANCE OF 0.2mm)
-THE ENTIRE POLYURETHANE SURFACE OF THE FITTING MUST BE IN CONTACT WITH THE TEST PLATE
-DRILL COUNTERBORED PASSING HOLES, PERPENDICULAR TO INTERFACE FACE, FOR FITTING SCREW (HOLES DIAMETER = SCREW DIAMETER + 1mm) TEST PLATE
-COUNTERBORE DEPTH MUST ALLOW AN ENGAGED THREAD LENGTH OF 0.8 x SCREW DIAMETER MIN FITTING
-THREAD LENGTH ABOVE THE WASHER WHEN THE NUT IS TIGHTEN MUST BE AT LEAST 2mm MIN
WASHER
- POSITION THE FITTING ON THE TEST PLATE (TEST PLATE AND FITTING INTERFACE MUST BE CLEAN AND DEGREADSED WITH SOFT CLEANING FLUID)

- CHECK THAT ALL FIXING SYSTEMS CAN MOVE FREELY (TRANSLATIONS/ROTATION) NUT
