INDEPENDENT TEENAGERS

In today's world, the topic of independence among teenagers is as common as other topics like
videogames. However, are we really prepared to become independent?, and how can this
affect in our lives?.

Firstly, we could choose our own entertainment for our personal development. We would be
learning about skills and responsibility. This not only includes our preferences but also prepare
us for the challenges of the life, where choices are present every day.

Secondly, we would have our own money, and this will let us to improve our financial skills,
which are not often learnt in education. Moreover, this would be an amazing responsibility for
has making us to worry more about the money that we have and we spend.

Finally, the importance for us to have more freedom. Giving autonomy is essential for our
emotional and intellectual growth. It makes us to face the consequences of our choices. This
freedom is not a privilege, instead is a necessity for building us.

In conclusion, by giving us that freedom to decide and manage our money by becoming
independent, it would help us develop and prepare for life.

A Family Memory in Maui

One photograph Have a spot in my heart, capturing a moment during our family's summer trip
to Maui. The image, taken against the backdrop of a impressive sunset, features us on the
beach, having fun and enjoying the moment we were living.

We had been wanting to take a family trip for a long time, but we wanted it to be somewhere
special. When we got there, the first thing we did was leave our suitcases and go directly to
the beach to watch the sunset. Once there we lived one of the best moments of our lives,
luckily there were cameramen offering photos in exchange for a little money, but it was totally
worth it.

Now we have that photo in a painting in the living room, and every time I sit on the sofa, I
remember that special moment with my family. Without a doubt it is the perfect photo thanks
to everything it symbolizes and makes us remember.
