B. What is the central or most important message of the movie?

=The central or most important message of the movie is that Science
is a good and bad thing. The biggest threat of Science is the tendency
to control people, because scientific knowledge leads people to
believe anything you say. People may think that because of their
knowledge, they should be able to dictate what people should do. C.S.
Lewis stressed how we need to limit of what science can do that
respected human rights.
C. Consider the effectiveness of the movie in communicating its message.
As a tool of communication, what are its strengths and weaknesses?
=The movies strengths are one they are able to convey the message
properly, two they are able to elaborate and explain everything about
the given topic which is about C.S. Lewis case about scientism, three
they’ve shown different examples and visuals like pictures and videos
and lastly is that there whole effort in giving us a great documentary
about the given topic where we gather new knowledge and better
understand the stand of C.S. Lewis. On their weakness one thing that I
have observe is that there are some unfamiliar words that I haven’t
encountered yet so I am not able to get the meaning in a quick but
overall the way the documentary had start and finish it is so great full
of new knowledge and learnings.
D. Does this movie appeal to the viewers reason or emotion? How does it
make you feel?
=For me the movie or the documentary appeal to the viewers reason
and emotion because the way the information has been given or
explain it is in the sense of putting something new and something that
could make our mind says “ oh that’s right “ the way the message is
conveyed it feels like its telling a story an untold story that could open
our eyes to reality and make us think that “ oh is it really happening “ ,
“ oh what a nice concept “ this documentary shows is how Science can
be a bad and a good thing and how Science and magic are related to
one another or just like what C.S. Lewis says Science and Magic are
twins.
E. List 2 things this movie tells you about life in the Philippines at the
time it was creating.

= What could have led Science to create such a great impact to a lot of
people?
G. What information do you gain about this event that would not be
conveyed by a written source? Be specific and write your reference in
APA style (6th Edition)
= The information that I’ve gained is that Science and Magic are twins
by C.S. Lewis. It is Science as religion, Science as Credulity and
Science as Power.
