REFLECTION

In our church, we always mark special occasions with a fun run. That's how we'll ensure that our
mental and emotional well-being is strengthened alongside our physical strength. I'm not very physically
fit, but I try to participate in activities like this whenever possible. It's nice that I challenge myself to try
new things, and I'm excited to join my classmates in this year's fun run.

On the morning of the fun run, I woke up before 3 to be ready for the activities. It took me
longer to leave the house than usual since I had to make some last-minute adjustments to my plans. At
3:30 in the morning, I left the house with nothing but my phone, music player, bills, and a bottle of
energy drink.

At exactly 5 a.m., I arrived at school and waited for my classmates while we gathered in a
common area to leave our belongings. At 5:30, we gathered in the assembly area as we wait for it to
start.

We set our own pace and enjoyed a quiet moment together as dawn broke. Too much joy
prevented me from noticing the heat and exhaustion brought on by all of our activities.

It is really one of the core memories that I will treasure once I finished college. Looking forward
to more events like this.
