Medium/High Velocity Nozzles

Complementary Deluge System Water Spray Nozzles

The medium velocity Thermospray, and high velocity Fyrhed nozzles are designed
primarily for use in engineered deluge fire protection systems to provide exposure
protection or to combat fuel fires with a flashpoint below and above 66ºC. Each serve
as complementary for use in deluge systems.

THERMOSPRAY NOZZLE: TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION*:

The LPCB approved medium velocity thermospray
Materials: Naval Brass to ISO CuZn36Pb2AS
nozzle is designed to produce a solid cone of evenly
Stainless Steel to ASTM 316
distributed water droplets.
Stainless Steel SMO 254 to
UNS S31254
Mounted in the pendant or horizontal position and
Titanium to ASTM B367, Grade C2
orientated to any position deemed necessary for
adequate hazard cover, this nozzle is used in deluge Finishes: Natural,
water spray systems for special hazard fire protection ENP,
application. Nedox coating
Operating Pressure: Min. 1.4 bar Max. 3.5 bar
As the system designs vary considerably, the
thermospray is made available in several K Factor Bore LPCB Spray
