 Co-investigator in Prof. Kavita Rastogi led project Development of sustainable economic


initiatives rooted in the traditional knowledge of Raji community, funded by the Shrikant
Joshi Endowment Grant, awarded by the Keystone Foundation in April, 2019.
 Co-investigator in Prof. Kavita Rastogi led project Revitalising Raji: A workshop series to
re-introduce script and encourage its usage, funded by Foundation for Endangered
Languages, UK in April, 2018.
 Co-investigator in Prof. Kavita Rastogi led project An Evaluation of Raji Revitalisation

Academic Achievements:

 Awarded the Fulbright Fellowship in the Fulbright Language Teaching Assistant


category in the New York University, for the year 2014-15

 Awarded the Young Investigator Travel Grant for participation in the XX World
Congress on Parkinson’s Disease and Related Disorders, held in Geneva, Switzerland from
8th-11th December, 2013.

 Qualified the UGC-JRF in Linguistics, in June 2010.

 Awarded the Anuradha Bhardwaj Memorial Prize for the third consecutive year for
Consistently Good Performance in English Literature in Indraprastha College for
Women (2007).

 Awarded the Smt. Chandrani Devi Kapoor Memorial Prize, the highest honour in the
English Department of Indraprastha college for Women for being the highest scorer in the
College for the three years combined, with an aggregate of 61.6% in 2007.
 Awarded the ‘Most Versatile Student’ of the College for the year 2006-07 in Indraprastha
College for Women.

 Awarded the ‘Vidyalaya Blue’ for the best student of Kendriya Vidyalaya Nagaon, Assam
in the year 2004.

 Awarded the Certificate of Excellence by the Central Board of Secondary Education for
being among the top 0.1% scorers in Hindi with a 97/100 in AISSCE in 2002.

 Presented Raji Revitalisation: Preserving traditional knowledge of the Raji community, co-
authored with Dr. Kavita Rastogi, Dr. Vishnu Singh and Ajeet Chaudhary at the LCP 2019
organised by RILCA, Mahidol University, Thailand during 17-18th December, 2019.

 Invited as Alumni Representative to the Fulbright Mid Year Conference held at Washington
DC during 11-15 December, 2019.

 Special talk at Department of English and Linguistics in English and Foreign Languages
University, Lucknow, as a former Fulbright fellow about life and responsibilities as a
Fulbrighter by the United States India Education Foundation on 7th August, 2018.
 Presented Revitalising Raji: A Step Ahead, co-authored with Dr. Kavita Rastogi at the 3 rd

 Served as a Resource Person in Hands on Training on Linguistic Tools, a workshop


organized by the Department of Linguistics, University of Lucknow, specifically for its
Masters and PhD students, trained the students on how to use PRAAT, a linguistic tool for
voice sample analysis, from 29th May, 2017 to 4th June, 2017.

 Presented a paper titled Designing the Right Material for the Hindi Classroom: A review of
Industry Best Practices in the International Seminar on Linguistics and Teaching of Hindi

 Appeared as a Resource Person/Expert in the live radio program Gyan Vani conducted
by IGNOU on the topic of Multilingualism in India: Viewing English Language Teaching in
the Indian Context.

 Designed an optional remedial English course titled English Appreciation for the students
of class X, XI and XII of the Ramanujam Junior College, Nagaon, Assam. Have taught the
same during summer vacations (for a period of 50 days) every year since 2008.

 Held the post of the Editor-in-Chief of the College magazine Aaroh in the Indraprastha
College for Women, University of Delhi.

 Represented the School in the National Level Teri Science Olympiad, National level
Social Science exhibition in English Elocution and secured the first rank in North East
Region and 9th rank all over India respectively.

 Won the first prize for the Best Entry in Assam in the National Competition of Rank and
Bolt Awards for Excellence in the Field of Education organized by Indian Airlines in
2004.

 Won several prizes in intra and inter college music, choreography, essay writing, dramatics
and creative writing in University of Delhi as well as Jawaharlal Nehru University.

Sports and Athletics:


 Served as Convenor, JNU Taekwondo Club.
 Awarded the Yellow belt in Taekwondo in March, 2013 and awaiting the Green belt
certificate.
 Awarded the flying certificate for a Sky-diving Expedition completed under the ‘Genting
Sky Venture Institute’ in Malaysia
 Certificate course in Para Sailing under the Air Force Base of India in Tezpur, Assam.
 Reached the semi-finals of the All Assam Nurul Amin Tennis Tournament held in
Nagaon Tennis Club in 2000, 2002 and 2003s
