Firstly, I would want to appreciate the character she did pretty okay, I mean it's not easy to act these
days but I was not really impressed. Her role was that of a journalist for Christ sake , she would have
done better. Let's not even talk about her costume, I felt she was struggling with the role and it wasn't
entirely her fault; the producer of the movie didn't give her opportunity to explore her role as a
journalist hence she didn't really show that she was a journalist. The character development was poor if
you'd ask me because I see no reason she was tagged as a journalist per say.

Okay let's take the first scene; the adoption scene; as a journalist she should have been aware of it and if
at all present there but nothing at all.

Victoria Kalu had two roles to play ; a journalist and a journalist's daughter but she was more of a
journalist's daughter than a journalist. For everytime she acted in the movie it was just for her to
uncover and know the truth behind her mother death. And this entirely overshadowed her role as a
journalist. I didn't really see the qualities of a journalist in her, it just seemed to me and to those out
there who took their time to watch this movie (I'm speaking for them now because it's really obvious
and annoying) that it was unnecessary for her to be tagged as a journalist in the movie. What do I mean?

With the scenes she acted and how her character was developed, she didn't have to be a journalist to
get to know the truth and prove her point.

Another instance I'd cite was is the scene which she submitted her story to her boss hoping it'd be
accepted. The story she submitted is everything related to her mother's murder and I mean there are so
many stories that could make the front cover page for her. It got to a point she forgot she was a
journalist and that was when it was obvious that her mission was to unravel the truth.

In summary, everything she did was just to show that she was a daughter searching for answers behind
her mother's death.

Seated here not trying to be biased,I would say that there was no scene that could count as memorable
or catchy to me and I won't lie about that. I didn't enjoy the movie from start to end but either way let
me just appreciate the fact that as it is an action packed movie, they were able to depict it though it was
way extreme in some scenes but yeah good for them

The general question...'what scene caught your attention'

For question 8

Not to compare but movies like brotherhood, blood sisters, gangs of Lagos did better with the money
they spent on production because by watching it one could see the money in it. But this particular movie
as we are meant to believe spent that amount of money on production?..wow!

I didn't see anything money in it I mean if they said they spent 1 million dollars it should be screaming it
just by watching it not anybody telling you.

Is it the cinematography which is poor or the costume which is nothing to write about? or perhaps the
fact that due to poor camera light most scenes were confusing?

Please it should be an exaggeration because what is 1 million dollars in the movie?

For me, I really loved the movie and I loved the fact that RMD was in it. As a movie lover, one of the first
things I do when I hear about a movie is to check the starring actors. When I saw RMD was a major
character in the movie, I immediately became drawn to it. Personally, I love RMD because he gives this
‘sugar daddy’ vibes.

I’ve seen him play that role in movies like Fine wine and Namaste Wahala, and I can say I was in love.

But seeing the movie “black book” gave me a new perspective about him.

It made me see Richard from a different light.

Seeing him play the role of a deacon / A retired military man took me by surprise .

I love how Editi surprised us with his role.

I love that it brought him out of his comfort zone too.

In an interview, he mentioned how he had to hit the gym for the sake of the movie and how determined
he was.

But I honestly don’t think RMD was 100% believable as a retired hitman.

It seemed like he was trying to give off the vibe of Liam Neeson from Star Wars .

That was probably not Editi’s intention, but it’s hard not to draw comparisons

My answer to the question about shaffy bello

: For me shaffy bello is a great personality

She’s one of the face of Nollywood

Shaffy is known for her classy roles on nollywood entertainment

Seeing how she turned out on Black as big daddy was a heart warming for me

Especially after all the shortcomings of the movie

For me, i will say shaffy ate her role knowing her to be a very good expert playing a classy woman vibe

This is me seeing shaffy coming out of her comfort zone and still giving a 8 out of 10 according to my
rating

Chief Daddy is one of the coolest character on Black portraying a woman as capable of doing what these
men could do or even better than the Men

She was in control of her self, her environment and the people she governor effortlessly

I love her slangs

I love her courage

But still i did expected more from her as Big Daddy

I was expecting to see more of action from her like a one to one fight

So yeah
I feel like she did well
