Call Me by Your Name

One of the movies nominated for Best Picture at the Oscars is an LGBT+ called Call
Me by Your Name. It's basically about a 17-year.old called Elio Perlman who is played by
Timothée Chalamet spending his summer in Italy with his parents. His dad happens to be a
professor and he brings an intern along for the summer, whose name is Oliver played by
Armie Hammer. Through the summer they begin to know each other and hang out more
and more, until one day they finally kiss and begin to have a secret affair.

I personally loved the movie. The plot was really good and was able to keep me
hooked throughout the whole movie. The actors also did a great job playing each of their
characters, and the setting is also amazing.

I am not here to review the movie, instead, I will just talk about the small details
that I loved.

I know it sounds weird, but one of my favorite things were the actors. Their
performance, as I already said, was really good. They represented their characters perfectly
and transmitted the emotions beautifully. I liked that they weren't exaggerating because in
some movies the actors overact and it doesn't look natural, but they (the actors) had a lot of
chemistry.

Timothée Chalamet who plays Oliver is one of the reasons I loved the movie so
much because he is EXTREMELY good looking, and everything he does makes me want
to marry him. I personally like him with the haircut he has throughout the movie because I
don't like how he has it now. But, I mean, if he asked me to marry him right now with that
hair I would still marry him without thinking it twice.

Armie Hammer plays Oliver, the other lover. I know I said I think Timothée was
hot, but he is NOTHING compared to Armie. Armie Hammer is one of the prettiest hottest
people alive on earth right now. He is the definition of perfection and he definitely made
me like the movie ten times more than if someone else had played that role. Because apart
from being an amazing actor he literally looks like a Ken.

Even though the men in the movie had a big influence in my love for it, the setting
also did. As I already mentioned it took place in Italy, but it didn't happen in a city, no. It
took place in in Lombardy, which made really romantic and just amazing to look at. It also
just gave it a vibe, I really don't know how to describe it but the movie would have been
totally different if it had taken place in the city.

I have always wanted to visit Tuscany in Italy. I don't know why but I had always
thought it looked so nice and peaceful over there. Actually, I dream of one day marrying
Harry Styles (or Timothée or Armie) and buying a vacation villa in Tuscany. I think all that
also made me connect more with the movie because Tuscany and Lombardy are kind of
similar, so maybe I felt a connection because it kind of had one of my childhood dreams in
there.

So, I already told you like two times that Timothée was an amazing actor in the
movie, and apparently, I am not the only one that thinks the same because he got nominated
for an Oscar. Not just any Oscar. He got nominated for Best Actor. He is actually the
youngest nominee in that category I. about 80 years, being only 22 years old.

The movie is also nominated for best picture at the Oscars so It's definitely worth
the watch, and trust me, you won't regret it.
