Introduction:-Silicon & Synapse, a company co-founded by Allen Adham, Michael

Morhaime, and Frank Pearce, was established in 1991. They were all graduates of

UCLA and shared a passion for electronic gaming. Later, the company became

known as Blizzard Entertainment, which is now part of Activision Blizzard, Inc. This

American company creates and produces electronic games and was formed in 2008

when Activision, a publisher of entertainment software, merged with Vivendi Games,

the parent company of Blizzard Entertainment. Blizzard Entertainment is famous for

its popular game series like Diablo, Warcraft, and StarCraft, as well as the MMORPG,

World of Warcraft.

In 1975, Bill Gates and Paul Allen started a company called Microsoft. It is located in

Redmond, Washington, and is famous for creating computer programs and services.
Windows is one of its popular products, which many people use. Microsoft Office is

also very helpful for working on documents and spreadsheets. Besides these,

Microsoft has also made games, tools for the internet, and things to save

information online. Today, Microsoft is a big company that provides technology

solutions to people worldwide.

By acquiring Activision Blizzard, Microsoft would have access to a passionate and devoted fan base

that they could use to promote the popularity of the franchises and ultimately increase sales of Xbox

consoles and other gaming-related products and services. Additionally, Microsoft could expand the

franchises' reach by making them accessible on other platforms and devices, which would open up

new revenue streams.

The overall effect of acquiring Activision Blizzard would be a considerable boost for Microsoft in the

gaming industry, which could potentially lead to greater market share and financial gains.
