The housemaids load all the supper things onto a trolley as Mrs
Temple goes to speak with Jekyll.

Jekyll What is it? I haven’t time to discuss domestic matters.
Mrs Temple No, sir. [Discreetly] I simply wondered if you mean to go out
again later?
Jekyll Now, I have a great deal of work to do. So if you and the
Jekyll [Quiet, but angry] How is that any of a housekeeper’s business? young ladies have finished clearing…
