Summary:

A Critical Information System, which is at the core of an organization's activities, requires a high

level of attention and investment to protect its confidentiality, availability, and integrity. Serious

financial and operational consequences may result from failing to protect or maintain these

systems. How ITM Security System aids organisations in resolving various and important issues

has been covered in this course. Every federal agency is required to establish and maintain a

security plan outlining its security policies, practises, and procedures. These plans must be

submitted to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for evaluation. FISMA encourages

ongoing monitoring of information systems to find and address security flaws and threats in real-

time.

The main goal of the learning objectives for an Information Technology Management (ITM)

programme is to give students the knowledge and abilities needed to manage and make use of

information systems inside organisations. Here are some typical learning outcomes for ITM

information systems, though they may differ based on the particular programme.

These learning objectives have been created to prepare students for careers in information

technology management and systems, where they will be in charge of utilising technology to

satisfy organisational goals and promote creativity and efficiency. Depending on their particular

objectives and curricula, certain programmes or courses may have additional or more specific

outcomes.
