First Rural Immersion Accomplishment

Our learning objectives were centred on gaining a comprehensive


understanding of Tur cultivation and rural agricultural practices.
Throughout our visit, we intended to gain insights into the entire tur
Learning Objectives cultivation process, exploring both traditional and modern farming
techniques, from seed selection to harvesting. Our primary intention was
to collectively analyse the cost structure associated with tur cultivation,
with the aim of identifying areas for innovation to enhance efficiency and
reduce costs.

Major challenge was communication gap as farmers communicated their
activities in local language. Nevertheless, our team members, proficient
in the local language, successfully bridged this gap by succinctly
