Profile
I have a bachelor's and a master's degree in Computer Science.
Currently, I'm a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Sao Paulo -
Brazil. I've been working on Distributed Systems development,
Artificial Intelligence, and IT infrastructure. In the academic
environment researching on these topics as well in cloud computing
and the Internet of Things.

Education
2018-Current Doctor of Philosophy – PhD, Computer Science
University of São Paulo – USP / ICMC. São Carlos, SP, Brazil.

Advisor: Dr. Júlio Cezar Estrella

Research project title: Spatial and Temporal Data Granularity

Analysis in the Internet of Things

Research about the Modifiable Areal Unit Problem (MAUP) on the

Internet of things context. My proposal aims to develop a
metaheuristic-based solution to precise analyses of the quality of data
and the infrastructure for IoT environments by temporal and spatial
autocorrelation.

2015-2018 Master’s degree, Computer Science

University of São Paulo – USP / ICMC. São Carlos, SP, Brazil.

Advisor: Dr. Júlio Cezar Estrella.

Research project title: Development and evaluation of optimization

algorithms for the fulfillment of cloud service level agreements

Original Title: Desenvolvimento e avaliação de algoritmos de

otimização para o cumprimento de acordos de níveis de serviços em
nuvem

Research on methodologies and algorithms that address the

combinatorial optimization and the multi-objective approach (based on
Artificial Intelligence) to handle the computational resources during
the execution time, trying to optimize the efficient use of the resources
available in the infrastructure and fulfill the service level agreements
defined between the clients and providers.

2011-2014 Graduation on Computer Science

State University of Midwest of Parana – UNICENTRO, Guarapuava,
PR, Brazil.

Final degree grade of 8,53 (in a range of 0 – 10).

Professional Experience

2020-current Professor
SENAI. Campus at São Carlos, SP, Brazil.

Taught Courses:

Postgraduate
-Machine Learning and Artificial intelligence
-Data science and Data mining
-Industry 4.0 production management

2020-current Full Stack developer

WebRadar. Rio de Janeiro – BR.

I am working on the implementation, support, and integration of

systems for vehicle monitoring.

2020-2020 Research Internship

University of Derby. Derby – UK.

I was working on my Ph.D. project with international researchers

collaboration. I am studying how the spatial and temporal granularity
analyses can to impact on the IoT infrastructure, and how I can
improve its IT infrastructure to get better IoT data quality.
2019-2020 Assistant Professor
Universidade Paulista (UNIP). Campus at Araraquara, SP, Brazil.

Taught Courses:

Computer Science
- Computer Networking (Classes: CC5P52 and CC4P52)
- Distributed Systems (Classes: CC6P52 and CC7P52)

Development of Systems
- Computer Architecture I (Classes: DS1P52, DS1Q52, and DS4P52)
- Computer Networking (Classes: DS2P52, DS2Q52, and DS1P52)

2018-2020 Project manager

Institute of Astronomy, Geophysics and Atmospheric Sciences (IAG) –
University of São Paulo (USP). São Paulo, SP, Brazil.

I was working on the deployment of the first Brazilian Virtual

Observatory (VO); a collection of international standards for the
publishing and access to astronomical data; used for decades in well
known services such as the CDS (Centre de Données Astronomiques de
Strasbourg), and being adopted by modern surveys such as Gaia. I was
also responsible for managing all IT infrastructure related to this
project. Using several hardware and software platforms:

• Linux / Windows
• Databases: MySQL / PostgreSQL
• Webserver: Apache 7+
• Java 8+
• Python 3
• Shell Script
• KVM
• Clonezilla
• Bitbucket

2018-2018 Jr. analyst

Bank Itau, Itau Unibanco. São Paulo, SP, Brazil.

Summer Job for Masters. The program was carried out for the first time
at the bank to strengthen ties between academics and industry, inviting
university researchers to apply their knowledge within the bank's real
problems. My project was 1 of 6 selected from 614 candidates, where I
made some IT infrastructure optimization on the Itau cloud, which
reduced approximately 20% of the cloud monetary cost. I've worked
with the Sysadmin and Cloud managing teams, developing the project
using several hardware and software platforms:

• Linux / Windows
• MySQL
• Java 8+
• Python 3
• Shell Script
• Grafana dashboard
• Jira software

2017-2018 Academic Tutor

Virtual University of São Paulo (UNIVESP), Ibitinga, SP, Brazil.

Taught Courses:

- Computer Engineering
- Production Engineering

2016-2017 Research Internship

University of Leicester. Leicester – UK.

I was working on the Master's project with international researchers

collaboration. I researched the many forms to make an SLA cloud
negotiation and how to improve the customer's cloud infrastructure to
get lower monetary cost, considering the condition of avoiding SLA
violations.
