The pain of losing someone is like a stain. No one plans it or wants it to happen, but it does.

You

can try to wear dark clothing or stay clear of messes, but they always find a way to get to you.

And the more you let it sit the harder it is to get out. The pain of the stain will not come out. No

matter how hard you scrub, there will always be a shade of it left sticking out like a sore thumb.

So, you buy new clothing and throw away the old, but you can never have it back. Still, you'll

remember the way you felt while wearing it and all the memories you had in them. The pain of

the stain never quite goes away, but you never wanted to forget it anyway.
