1.1 INTRODUCTION
This chapter's goal is to present the study context, purpose, and issue of a n overview of the
subject of human resource management and evaluation of studies on positive behavior
support.
1.5 OBJECTIVE
The objective of this study is aimed to determine the function of the problem behaviors of the
child and to gain appropriate behaviors that meet tha same functions.
1.6 DELIMITATION
The key element in PBS education is to train people about internal and external factors that
contribute to coercive behaviors, reduce problem behaviors and present an alternative
functional behavior instead of the problem behavior. Basic characteristics of a PBS program are:
changes in lifestyle and quality of life;
continue for a life time;
environmental validity;
multiple applications;
emphasis on practices to prevent problem behavior (Lucyshyn, Dunlap & Albin, 2002; Erbas,
2008).

In line with this general aim, answers to the following questions were sought in the study:
