About the Product


All products designed, produced and distributed by IDS GeoRadar, its Subsidiaries, Affiliated and authorized Distributors (Products) shall not be used, in the design, development, production or use
of chemical, biological, nuclear ballistic weapons. Buyer/ User will defend, indemnify and hold IDS GeoRadar harmless against any liability (including attorney’s fees) for non-compliance with the
terms of this paragraph.
If IDS GeoRadar requires that Buyer/User shall carry out a training with reference to some Product categories, no operation or use of the Products shall be started before its designated Operator/s
has got the User Certificate, as defined by IDS GeoRadar specific procedure which the Buyer confirms to know and accept.
For Products which include specific “Operational” software with automatic data processing and analysis “Tools”, e.g. RockSpot, IBIS Products; Hydra Products, User shall be aware that the results
provided by these “Tools” may be not error free. User that completely relies on the outcomes provided by these Tools only, does it at his own risk.
In no event IDS GeoRadar shall be liable for special, direct, indirect, incidental, exemplary, punitive or consequential damages including, but not limited to, loss of profits or revenue, caused by the
missed or incomplete observance of the instructions and prescriptions for the use of the Products, either separately or in combination with other products.

1 INTRODUCTION

1 INTRODUCTION

1.1 Purpose

This document provides the user with the required information necessary to
set-up and properly operate IDS GeoRadar IBIS Dispatch, a single integrated
software platform able to provide all the alarm state information coming
from Radar units without the need to deal directly with radar data or
interfere with Guardian projects.
This document is organized as follows:
• IBIS Dispatch Installation and Configuration;

• IBIS Dispatch Operational Instructions.

1.2 Application Field


This document refers to IBIS Dispatch software version 1.1.

1.3 Intended readership


A IBIS Dispatch user must be familiar with Guardian, Data Server software
and IBIS and Hydra technology in order to properly configure IBIS Dispatch
software as described in this manual.

4.1 Installation
IBIS Dispatch software kit consists of a USB dongle and a digital package with
the user manual and the installation files:
• IBIS Dispatch software installation files.
• USB dongle;

4.1.1 IBIS Dispatch software installation files


To install IBIS Dispatch software follows these steps:
1. log in with administrator privileges to the PC where IBIS Dispatch will
be installed;
2. install the software by double-clicking on the installer icon from

3. click the Next button to proceed with the software installation.
When the process is complete, click the Close button to finish the
installation (Fig. 2)

4.1.2 USB dongle • run IBIS Dispatch


The software requires a USB dongle key hardware protection system.

2. select the SentinelProtectionInstaller7.6.5.exe file from Installation

3. run the Sentinel Protection Installer and follow the guided
procedure:

➢ read and accept the License Grant/Warranty statement: ➢ in the Setup Type window (Fig. 8) select the Complete

➢ once installed, click Finish (Fig. 11) to close the Sentinel 4. once the driver installation is finished, restart the PC;

In Advanced settings (see par 13) it is possible to enable the options to:
• visualize the IBIS Dispatch always on top of the screen,
• minimize the Main Window
• automatically maximize the Main Window after a defined period of
time.

All the IBIS Dispatch windows have a contextual help page, easily
accessible by clicking on the ? symbol.

6.2 Procedure to add a site

7.1 Description of the function


IBIS Dispatch provides for different kinds of user:
• Administrator can perform all the IBIS Dispatch permitted actions
(Users and Displays management, Configuration Settings,
Import/Export log file and Exit from IBIS Dispatch);
• Standard can only Snooze / Acknowledge the alarms.
To perform any action the user has to be logged in. Only one Administrator
account is allowed.
To manage users the user has to have Administration privileges. The actions
permitted from the Users management window (Fig. 18) are:
• Add/Remove user
• Edit User

During the first installation to perform the configuration of IBIS 7.2 Procedure to add an user

7.4 Procedure to edit an user


1. Log in as Administrator;

2. Click on the main bar (Fig. 12Fig. 13) on the icon Users Settings;
3. In the Users management dialog (Fig. 18, select the name of the user
to be edited;
4. To edit the selected user click on the symbol Edit User;
5. Follow steps 4 to 8.

8.1 Description of the function
IBIS Dispatch collects in alarming information generated by several Guardian
projects (single pit and FPM) a single interface, even from multiple pits
operations. It can also run in the corporate or central offices and collects
alarm data generated at different mine site.

IBIS Dispatch can be visualized from different displays. Each display can be
configured from the Admin user that can add/remove or edit a display.
Each Display can be divided in 4 different configurations, with 1, 2 or 4

sections (Fig. 21). In these sections will be visualized the different pop-
alarms. Each section can be fully customized from the Admin user in terms
of:
• Type and number of visualized alarms ;
• Text message;

8.2 Procedure to add a display and assign alarm 14. To cancel click on the Cancel button.

a download area you can access to get the latest update of software,
