ModTech®2021 International Conference

Online edition – User guide of online platform


June 23rd – 26th, 2021

√ To ensure stability, ease of use and accessibility, the Organizing Committee of


the ModTech2021 International Conference has opted for the solutions offered by
Google.
√ The Online page for the online edition of the ModTech2021 International
Conference is accessible from PC (Windows, Mac), tablets and mobile phones
(with Android or IOS operating system).
√ For devices with Android or IOS when accessing the connection link, it may be
necessary to download the Google meet application (with automatic referral to
Magazine Play or App Store, these being free applications)
General information

√ The online page of the ModTech2021 International Conference contains the


following windows: registration desk; opening ceremony/closing ceremony;
plenary session; oral presentation sections A+F; oral presentation sections B+D+E;
oral presentation section C; oral presentation section G; poster presentation section.
√ For the preparation of all online invitations it is very important to register online
from June 22nd, 2021, starting with 800am until June 23th, 2021, ending with 600pm,
currently Eastern European Time (EET), GMT+3 / Romania Time.
√ We address special requests to all participants to respect the registration days and
the time interval for the presentation of the paper/poster.
√ The posters in pdf format will be sent to the email address
office.modtech@gmail.com until June 18th, 2021.
√ For technical details please contact the technical secretary of each section using
the email address indicated in the book of abstracts visible on
https://modtech.ro/conference/book-of-abstracts.php only after login.
√ All the conference sections will be recorded for non-commercial purposes.
√ Login www.modtech.ro website and you will have access to the online
environment by clicking on the Online ModTech2021 June 23-26 window.
Technical steps
√ Click on the Registration Desk on the conference online page.

√ Click on the window that contains the presentation section of the paper/papers.

√ Open the file to be presented, .ppt, prezi etc., type.


√ Each participant will open their microphone and camera only at the beginning of
the presentation.
√ Click from the meet window on Presenting now and choose A window option.

√ Select window and allow to be shared (.ppt, prezi, etc.) from the pop-up next to
the link address.
Important: If you choose to present the entire screen, be careful not to have
information and data displayed on the screen that you do not want to make public.
Once displayed on the screen, they can be saved on your own computer by any of
the conference participants without your knowledge and / or permission.

√ At this point you can start the presentation.


√ At the end of the presentation, please do not close the file (Stop presenting) for
any questions. Questions can only be asked in chat mode.
√ Return to the meet window and click on Stop presenting.
