S21 Camera Window foreign matter Repair GUIDE

History : We would like to guide the customer to replace any foreign substances, etc. on the camera window in a

single unit state, not in a SET state.

◆ Disassembly

* If camera window is cracked or penetrated,

Do not use air hose first because glass fragments can damage the AOD machine.
Open the back cover and check the glass fragments on camera module or nearby.
Remove all the glass fragments if it is needed and replace the camera window.
Refer to the “(20-25) Repair guide for broken symptom of Camera Window,deco” document from
GSPN.
1. Place the phone in the AOD machine ( Place Cam window side to bottom )

2. Heat it in heat for 5 minutes.

3. Check the point to be disassembled and Assemble the appropriate jig to the machine (AOD)

(Check the jig for each model)

* The example below is a P project ( S21 ) . For other models, please insert the vacuum PAD in accordance

with the cam window pie.

(Air T-type pitting is compatible with all models)

*Blue : Replacement of the sensor window can

not be repaired, so the back glass assembly is
replaced. (H / W performance is not
guaranteed due to misattachment of TX and
RX holes. )

3-1. Remove the 2-point hose and connect the air T-type fitting part.
 3-2. Remove the 1-point hose and connect it to the air T-type fitting.

3-3. Connect the appropriate Vacuum pad jig for each model.

4. Change the setting of the machine before adsorption to the following conditions.

5. Turn the phone over and place the vacuum pad on the disassembly point for more than 30 seconds
6. If there is a gap, use a disassembly tool to lift it up.
※ Precautions

- If you insert the disassembly tool deeply, there may be damage to the camera, so please insert it slowly to

a minimum.

- If the gap doesn't open, repeat job step 2 to step 5 again.

◆ Assembly

1. Attach the camera window tape and press the edge of the tape with tweezer.

(Do not touch the center of the tape to prevent damage to the camera lens)

※ Precautions

- Before attaching the camera window tape, check if there is any remaining tape residue or foreign matters.

2. Attach the camera window using vacuum pad.

And then press the camera window carefully with hand several times.
