Directions.
1. Color and cut the seven landmasses which represent the earths’
continents.
2. Using the physical shape of the continents, the age of rock
layers, fossilized desert belts, and the distribution of fossils, fit
the landmasses together.
3. Paste the puzzle pieces on another sheet of paper – The
Earth’s Jigsaw. (A sheet of paper with cardinal directions is
attached)
4. Solve the puzzle to discover what the Earth looked like 220
million years ago.
5. Answer the guide questions below on a separate sheet of paper.
