Artificial intelligence
Data has been a crucial element in the evolution of artificial
intelligence (AI), a market that could reach $ 98 billion in 2023
and exceed $ 169 billion in 2025
AI can help personalize computer-based learning and identify
worker skill gaps and opportunities for retraining. ... That was
true in the age of the steam engine, and it is still true in the
age of artificial intelligence
Artificial Intelligence aims to get to build these "machines",
and improve the knowledge of intelligence. These machines
should be able to imitate, or exceed, the mental capacities of
humans: reasoning, understanding, imagination, recognition,
creativity, emotions
Benefits
Process automation.
Minimize human error
Predictive Maintenance.
Minimize data analysis time.
Improved decision making.
Increase in productivity and quality.
Control and optimization.
Greater precision.
Drawbacks
Data availability.
Lack of qualified professionals.
The cost and time of implementation of AI projects.
Quantum computing
Quantum computers apply the laws of quantum mechanics to the different
states of particles in time, to increase processing power. The operation of this
type of computers is similar to that of traditional ones, but working with
quantum bits that can be in superimposed states.
With quantum computing they mainly obtain three advantages over classical
computing:
In this sense, the error rate occurs when there is a disparity between the operation time versus the
decoherence time. Consequently, any operation must be completed in a time shorter than the
decoherence time.
Another error concerns the performance of the qubits. Remember that the quantum computer only
works at certain temperatures, hence errors may occur when deciphering the codes. This results in a
fairly large space required for it to function.
Researchers must also take into account that the more qubits, the greater the probability of error. For
this reason, the consulting firm Altim points out that additional machinery is required that can correct
and regulate the correct temperature and argues that this extra machine must be able to "control" the
qubits.
