THE PROBLEM ITS SCOPE


INTRODUCTION
Rationale
This study aimed to identify the comparative learning of self- efficacy between

gender differences. With the rapid development of science and technology, the new

century has been witnessing growing self-efficacy of gender differences and

performance among the learners ( Yu and Deng). This study focuses on the level of self-

efficacy among grade 11 students in order for the researchers to determine the level of

self-efficacy between male and female students. The independent variable are the male

and female students an the dependent variable is the self – efficacy.

General self-efficacy significantly impacts cognitive behaviors, particularly in

interpreting persuasive messages. However, no research has explored how general

self-efficacy affects the interpretation of vicarious experience information and its impact

on self-efficacy in completing a set task in a career skills online learning environment.

The study analyzed the effect of six types of vicarious experience information on online

workshop participants' self-efficacy. Results showed that individuals with low general

self-efficacy found vicarious experience information less beneficial, while those with

high general self-efficacy found much of the information beneficial. This highlights the

need for further research on designing and presenting vicarious experience information

to ensure task-specific self-efficacy for all individuals, regardless of their general self-

efficacy beliefs (Wlide 2019).

Grit is essential for learning and teaching since it motivates students to

engage in class activities and take on obstacles. Grit is associated with lower
depression via meaning in life among Filipino high school students. Resilience, which

shows persistence and aptitude, is emphasized in positive psychology. Self-regulated

learning (SRL) can increase students' involvement and performance. In a review, the

relationship between SRL and students' grit and resilience is examined, highlighting the

significance of administration and educator preparation for academic success (Whang

2021).

This setting ended the researchers to be attracted to the the level of efficacy

among the grade 11 STEM students of Santa Monica Institute, Inc. for the incoming

academic year 2023-2024.
