Answer TWO of the following by referring to the relevant provisions of law and decided
cases. Give cogent reasons.

8. A and B drive their respective cars on the public road. A wants to overtake C’s car.
B also wants to overtake C’s car. Both collide with C’s car because of their own
negligence. How can A and B be called?

9. A little child was put in danger by going nearby a passing train, as there was no
watchman in the level – crossing and the plaintiff jumped suddenly to rescue the
child, but was struck by the engine. Whether the plaintiff has to be compensated?
Or he went voluntarily?

10. Due to rain the road was very slippery. The deceased, while crossing the road was
run over by a motor vehicle. Whether the deceased has committed any wrong? Or
only the owner of the motor vehicle is liable. Decide.
