Instructions
Teach your kids about the structure of the books of the Bible with this fun books of the Bible
bookshelf craft! Your kids can construct this craft over a few days, or they can add books to the
bookshelves as they read them.

Supplies Needed to Make Your Books of the Bible Bookshelf Craft

• Colored Cardstock
• Scissors
• Glue Stick
• Printed Bookshelf Templates

1) Print Your Books of the Bible Bookshelf Crafts and Cut Out the Shelves

2) Glue Your Shelves to a Blank Piece of Cardstock.

This will create your bookshelves. On the Old Testament bookshelf, your shelves will be:
Law / History, then Poetry / Major Prophets, and lastly Minor Prophets. On your New Testament
bookshelf, your shelves will be Gospels / History, Pauline Epistles, then General Epistles /
Prophecy.

3) Cut Out Your Bible Books

Cut out each book of the Bible. You can choose to work on one section at a time as an ongoing project, or you
can cut them all out at once. You can also make it a puzzle for your kids as they figure out where each book of the
Bible goes on the bookshelves.

4) Glue Your Books of the Bible onto the Shelves

Your child can glue the books of the Bible onto each shelf as they read it, or they can work on a section at a time.
You may want to spend a few days working on this project if you’ve decided to do it all at once.
