1. Coulomb’s Laws of Electrostatics.

First Law:
3. Three capacitors have capacitance of 4mfd, 6mfd and 8mfd respectively. Find
the total capacitance when they are connected in (i) series (ii) parallel.
4. Three capacitors 5mfd, 10mfd and 15mfd are connected in parallel across
250v supply. Find the energy stored.
5. If the temperature co-efficient of copper at 200C is 0.00393 find the resistance
at 800C given that resistance at 200C is 30 ohm.

6. Find the current in the 3 ohm resistor in the circuit shown.


7. Expression for the equivalent capacitance of three capacitors connected in (i)series
(ii)parallel.

1. Expression to convert the delta connected resistor into equivalent star
