I am delighted to submit my application for the summer account management internship
position at Downtown Indy, Inc. I learned of this opportunity from my strategic communications
professor, Bob Schultz. My experience in Bob’s strategic communications class, enthusiasm for
hospitality and tourism, and passion for nonprofit management make me a strong candidate.
My experience in my strategic communications course has taught me how create social media
content, communicate effectively, and write in AP style. As an arts administration major, I’ve
learned the importance of community engagement, and have a passion to enrich the
community. I learned how to maintain websites, and track attendance rates at local events.
I want to practice the skills I learned in the classroom while gaining new experiences at
Downtown Indy, Inc. I want to thank you for taking the time to review my application, and I
