CLEARMAX™ Wellbore Cleaning Services

MAX-Brush™ Tool

Weatherford’s MAX-Brush tool belongs to the CLEARMAX suite of

wellbore cleaning tools and is a non-rotational casing brush that polishes
and removes debris from the surface of the casing. It is typically run in
conjunction with the MAX-Blade™ casing scraper.

The MAX-Brush tool consists of a tightly wound coil brush which

is mounted on a non-rotating floating sleeve. A through-rotational
design provides the operator with flexibility to brush the casing while
simultaneously rotating the work string, without causing unnecessary
brush wear. The floating sleeve also prevents side-loading in deviated
wells, ensuring that the brush section works to optimal scouring efficiency.

Typically, the tool is run in the hole as part of a wellbore cleanup string.
As it moves along the length of the well, the coil brush scours and polishes
the inner walls of the casing, removing solids, scale, and other debris.
