DFOAM1
DEFOAMING AGENT

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
DFOAM1 is a general purpose liquid silicone based defoaming agent, which finds applications in many water based
fluids. Its efficiency at a wide range of temperatures, pH and viscosities makes it an excellent choice in cement slurries,
well intervention treating fluids and to remove foam of foamed well fluids.

Features:
• DFOAM1 is effective in all water based fluids.
• DFOAM1 is efficient at a wide range of temperatures, salinities and pH.
• Recommended concentration is in the range of 0.2 – 1.5 l/m3, depending on severity of the problem.

HANDLING AND STORAGE

General protective measures:
Use Personal Protective Equipment, as specified in the MSDS.

Storage:
Store in a dry ventilated area and ensure that open drums are closed adequately. Please refer to MSDS for further
information regarding the safe storage of the product.
