- I was 19 years young. I’m sorry I don’t recall the events that led up to this
arrest. I am diagnosed with Sickle Cell Anemia and the marijuana was helping
with my medical condition at that time.
- I was 21 years young. I was at a hotel party; police were called anonymously
about someone having a gun at the party. Police searched everyone and the
place and arrested a guy The guy had my car keys on him, and police
confiscated my car explaining that they witnessed the guy leaving my car
when they arrived, so they suspected that there may be evidence located in
my car and it was. They arrested me as well since it was my car. They found
a gun and marijuana. The end result was that the courts charged the guy with
the gun and me with less than 50 grams of marijuana. I had to pay a fine and
had an early release from probation.

- I was 22 years young. My girlfriend at the time was living with me, we had a
verbal argument that led to her being very hostile and keeping me against my
will to leave the home. She was threatening me with a knife, and I called the
police. She stated to the police that I was the aggressor, and I was charged.

- I was 24 years young. I was speeding and the patrolling officer indicated he
smelled marijuana. Had a dog in the patrol car with him and the dog signaled
for marijuana. I am diagnosed with Sickle Cell Anemia and the marijuana was
helping with my medical condition at that time.
- I was 25 years young. Police pulled me over after leaving a night club, the
officer claimed he pulled me because when I didn’t back out of my parking
spot, I didn’t turn my headlights on right away. He claimed he smelled
marijuana and searched the car without consent. I was charged with a local
ordinance violation.
