INVITATION TO ATTEND TWELFTH CONVOCATION

Dear Alumni,

It is my pleasure to inform you that the 12th Convocation of the University will be held on Sunday,
December 17, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. in the University Auditorium to confer degrees on the 2023
passing out students. I extend you a cordial invitation to attend the Convocation and receive the
Degree in person. Hon’ble Prof. A.K. Mohanty, Director - Bhabha Atomic Research Centre
(BARC), Chairman, Atomic Energy Commission, and Secretary to the Government of India,
Department of Atomic Energy will be the Chief Guest and will deliver the Convocation Address.

Kindly note that in this Convocation, degrees will be given on the Dias only to the students who
have got CPI > 8.00 and have passed their examinations with Honors. Other students will be
given a degree on the same day in their respective Department.

Please note that a full scale rehearsal of the function will be held on December 16, 2023 at 4:00
P.M. at University Auditorium. If you do not participate in the rehearsal, it will not be possible for
us to include your name for receiving the degree in person in this Convocation. You are, therefore,
requested to reach the campus well in advance so that you can participate in the rehearsal.

Kindly fill in the registration-cum-consent form through the University website. Further, you are
advised to report before 10:00 AM on December 17, 2023 in Academic Block – VII otherwise, it
will not be possible to allow you to attend the Convocation.
