I make weekly
commitment goals
focused on CSTP
standards and on
student learning. I
check in weekly to
make a new goal,
modify, or reflect on
how well I was able to
execute those
commitments. Below
is a snippet of my
weekly goals and
follow up reflections.

I am continuing to
support families and
keep them in the
loop. I create weekly
newsletters, I send
emails, I check up
on students who are
failing or may have
been missing a lot of
class.

From going to PLC’s and
talking in my skype
groups I am getting to
know more about my
local neighborhood and
communities. Since we
are an online school it is
hard because we all come
from different
communities. However, I
do plan virtual outings
CSTP 6: Developing as a Professional Educator
My students come
from multiple places
in California, and we
have made projects
about our local
communities and their
history. For example,
we have learned about
the different Native
American Tribes that
have lived in different
parts of California. We
have used internet
resources to read
informational texts
about the different
tribes in our
communities.
Since I work in an
online school my
students are all over
California. However, I
did host an outing in
my local community
in San Diego. It was
in Coronado in a
beautiful park
