with my students. Last
outing we watched a
video about Hawaii and
discussed what we
learned.

My students come
from multiple places
in California, and we
have made projects
about our local
communities and their
history. For example,
we have learned about
the different Native
American Tribes that
have lived in different
parts of California. We
have used internet
resources to read
informational texts
about the different
tribes in our
communities.

Since I work in an
online school my
students are all over
California. However, I
did host an outing in
my local community
in San Diego. It was

sure I am completing this class to clear my credential and become a better
educator. I treat students and parents with respect and listen to their needs and
