Overview
Helix Hydrogen is an apparatus that produces hydrogen through a
chemical process known as, electrolysis. The electrolyzer is capable of
separating the hydrogen and oxygen molecules that water is composed of
using electricity. The hydrogen produced from electrolysis is a renewable
source of energy that be can be used as a source of fuel.

Helix Hydrogen + Dominion Energy Partnership
STRENGTHS + WEAKNESSES –
+ Environmentally-friendly technology for renewable — High initial costs for equipment and installation
energy — Limited scalability and production capacity
+ Potential for high demand and ability to reduce — Reliance on electricity for the electrolysis
carbon emissions process
+ Easy to operate and maintain, accessible to wide — Inability to keep entire ownership of product
range of customers
○ Profit losses?
+ Dominions Existing Market Presence

OPPORTUNITIES + THREATS –
+ Government incentives and subsidies for — Competition from other renewable energy
renewable energy sources sources
+ New innovations on the existing product — Dependence on government policies and
because of the limited responsibility once regulations
licensed — Fluctuations in electricity prices and
+ Expansion into new markets and industries availability

Personal selling would be
Sales Strategy recommended for Dominion Energy
to make consumers aware of the
expansion into hydrogen energy.
Employing a sales representative
would be the most effective way for
Dominion Energy to present clients
specific reasons why making the
switch to renewable energy is
beneficial to both the consumer and
the Earth.
Marketing Plan

Dominion energy should market their

expansion into hydrogen energy by
utilizing digital marketing to generate
awareness of the new product line.
Google search ads and banner ads are a
few cost effective ways to spread the
word.
