Hi, I’m Hamad. I’m fourteen years old and I have lots of interests. Read my blog

I’m crazy about astronomy.‫ علم الفلك‬I love learning about the stars and planets.

My parents bought me a book about astronomy when I was seven.

Now I like to use the Internet to get more information.

I’m really into Baking. At the weekends, I always bake biscuits and cakes, with my

mother because it’s a lot of fun. I also enjoy making jewellery and giving it to my friends.

Souq Waqif is one of my favourite places in Doha. It is a well- known place in

Qatar, and it offers many things to see and do.

Souq Waqif looks like a traditional Souq. In the Souq Waqf you can find shops

selling almost everything, from traditional clothes and bags to jewellery and

sweets. Of course, you can’t leave Souq Waqif without buying some items from

the shops you can find there. And when you get tired, you can have lunch at one of

its many restaurants. I think Souq Waqif is worth visiting.

I live in Doha; Doha is the capital of Qatar. It’s one of beautiful cities in the world.

Doha has got a lot of amazing sights to visit. Souq waqf, for example is one of the

most famous places in Doha. Many tourists visit Doha to see it and take photos.

We also have Qatar mall; I enjoy go shopping in Qatar mall. If you want to relax,

have a picnic, or even do sports we have Aspire zone. Doha is an amazing place to live.

How are things? I hope you are well. The last week I was preparing for the maths
competition at school. The competition was last week, and I won first prize, all my
classmates took part in the competition. my mother helped me with some difficult
problems. I was really surprised when the teacher gave me the news. My parents
were proud of me, and I was happy too. What about you? How did your team do in
the basketball tournament last week? Write back soon with your new.

A story ‫قصة‬

Last Saturday, my friends and I went for a picnic in the forest near our town. The
weather was sunny, and we were excited. When we arrived there, we started

playing different games like football and volleyball. When we finished playing, we
were very hungry. While we were eating our sandwiches, the weather started to
change. There were black clouds everywhere in the sky, and it started raining
heavily. We tried to find a place to hide, but there was nothing. Suddenly, we
heard a car coming. Luckily, it was my dad. he came to pick us up. We were all very
happy to see him.
