Formerly Aryavrat Healthcare Ltd, Charkos Global is a UK-based organisation focussing on

healthcare consultancy, recruitment, and training. They have been operating for more than
15 years partnering with the NHS and other private healthcare providers. The primary
purpose of Charkos Global is to recruit, train and place permanent, temporary, and
contracted healthcare professionals. They have recruited over 5,000 workers in hospitals
and prepare experienced nurses and other health professionals for international roles.

Their ’workforce solution programs’ span from providing OSCE-qualified and full-time
international Registered Nurses to deploying project-specific teams in Health Information
Technology, including Electronic Patient Record (EPR) and Enterprise Resource Planning
(ERP) integration.
Charkos essentially recruits healthcare workers from around the world, primarily India, and
helps then gain employment in either the UK or Australia. To pass their examinations and be
considered by Charkos, healthcare workers must pass 3 stages of examinations.
CBT: Computer-Based Exam – The first stage involves a multiple-choice computer-based
online assessment that can be taken in the healthcare workers home country.
OSCE: Objective Structured Clinical Exam – The second stage involves a practical exam that
must be taken in the host country. OSCE requires candidates to enact a range of scenarios
to demonstrate their skills. Charkos provides comprehensive country specific OSCE
preparation courses.
The last stage is an IELTS test. The applicant must achieve an overall score 7.0 IELTS score
with 7 in reading, listening and speaking sections while 6.5 in writing.
