Jesus is the light of the world

God is light in him there is no darkness at all 1John 1:5b (NLT) there are many questions that
aroused in our mind that if God is light and there is no darkness in him why then there is
darkness in the people’s life, answer for the same is provided in the scripture.
In Gensis 1:2(NLT) “God says Let us make man in our image after our likeness”, that means
when God made man there is no darkness in man at all, man where in likeness and image of
God, but when man disobeyed God sin and darkness entered the man life that led to the down
fall of mankind and man lost the intimate relationship with God which man had in the Garden
of Eden. Also in Ephesians chapter 2 :1-3(NKJV)it states that we were dead in the trespasses
and sins, that is we walked according to the course of this world conducting ourselves in the
lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature
children of wrath, just as the others. Mankind lived in the world without God and without
hope.
But God so rich in kindness provided an ultimate solution to our problem through grace of
Jesus Christ purchased our freedom brought us near to him through the blood of Jesus Christ.
As stated in (1Peter 1-18-19(NKJV) “For you know that it was not with perishable things
such as silver or gold that you were redeemed, but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb
without blemish or defect.”).God did not gave these solution because we are something great
or someone great but as stated in Ephesians 2:4-6(NKJV)- But God, who is rich in mercy,
because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses,
made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved )and in John 3:16(NLT)
“For God so loved the world that he gave is only begotten Son (Jesus Christ) that whosoever
believe in him shall not perish but have eternal life”.
Through one man sin condemnation was for everyone but one act of righteousness by Jesus
Christ restored the broken relationship with God and bought a new life to everyone
whomsoever believed in Jesus Christ through grace and broke down the wall of hostility gave
us access to God so that we can submit our prayers and supplication to God without any
restrictions.
If you are anxious, broken, depressed, addicted, lost without hope or trapped in the desires of
the world there is good news do not worry “Jesus Loves you” as stated by Jesus himself in
John 8:12 (NLT) “I Am the light of the world” if you follow me, you won’t have to be in
darkness, you will have the life the leads to eternal life. And peace of God which surpasses all
understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Jesus is the ultimate answer for all the problems and solution for all the challenges that we
are facing in the world. As Jesus describes himself as a shepherd who lays down his life for
his sheep and knows each of them by name, by these Jesus coveys his love and care for his
followers, and his willingness to sacrifice himself for their sake.
