5 911 Caller: Yes ma’am

6 MC Dispatch: Did you need police, fire, or medical assistance for you, sir?

7 911 Caller: Yes, I sure need police, absolutely.

8 MC Dispatch: What’s going on?

9 911 Caller: I’ve got uh, someone trying to get in the uh, trailer. Busted in on us, me and my girlfriend.

10 MC Dispatch: Somebody tried breaking into your trailer?

11 911 Caller: Yes, me and my girlfriend.

12 MC Dispatch: Do you know who this person is or is it a stranger?

13 911 Caller: He’s a homeless guy that hangs around over here in the trailer park. He don’t need to be

14 hanging around in my yard. My dogs alerted me and he’s going to act all crazy and shit, walking down the

15 road. I told him to just come on back, God dammit. They not running over me in here. (unrecognizable

16 speech)

17 MC Dispatch: Give me a descrip7on is he a white male, black male, Hispanic?

18 911 Caller: Ma’am, he’s a black male.

19 MC Dispatch: Do you know what color shirt he has on tonight?

20 911 Caller: I think it’s red, a reddish shirt or his pants might be red I’m not sure. Uh, he’s got a hat on.

21 He’s going up the road.

22 MC Dispatch: Do you know what color hat?

23 911 Caller: I don’t know. I can’t see, it’s dark.

32 911 Caller: John Doss, D-O-S-S. I’m a tenant here.

34 911 Caller: Yes, ma’am.

35 MC Dispatch: I’m ge‘ng you on the line direct with the police department. Keep them updated with

36 what’s happening while they are on the way, okay.

37 911 Caller: Yes, ma’am. You’re not the police department?

38 MC Dispatch: I’m 911. I’ve given all this informa7on to the police. I’m going to get you on the line direct

39 with their dispatch.

40 911 Caller: Alright, thank you.

41 MC Dispatch: What part of your house was he trying to break into?

42 911 Caller: Uh, he was coming in to the yard, up over the fence and the dogs uh, alerted us. I have two

43 dogs here. We have two. (He starts conversa7on with someone in the background) Beside the trailer

57 911 Caller: Yes ma’am, I had somebody uh, in the yard, trying to get into my yard and stuff and I come

58 outside and caught him and uh he went up the road, uh hollering and cussing and I told him you know I

59 told him how it was. Come on back and uh, and I’m not puOng up with it here.

60 MPD Dispatch: Right, so he is no longer there?

61 911 Caller: No, he walked up the road up there, to it looked like trailer 27, but uh, ma’am he, that’s a

62 mistake he made coming in this yard.

63 MPD Dispatch: Right. (long pause) Did he take anything?

64 911 Caller: (talking to someone in the background and then answers dispatch) uh, no ma’am. Not that I

65 can tell. Uh the dogs alerted me, uh, the one in the bedroom uh started bar…well the one in the living

66 room started barking and the one in the bedroom told me someone was outside. So, I uh got my

67 flashlight well I didn’t have my flashlight at the moment. I opened up the door and there he was in front

68 of me and I said hey, what you doing? It’s that skinny black dude, a thin one, yeah. He’s homeless, they

69 squaOn over here on some property, it’s a mess over here ma’am. I’m not going to live over here much

70 longer, these people over here.

71 MPD Dispatch: Yes, sir, I’ll let the officers know.

72 911 Caller: Yes, ma’am.

73 MPD Dispatch: We’ll get them out there as soon as possible, okay?
