Tomas, is a little boy who has color blindness, talks about what is happening around him, life with
his aunt, his sister, his mother and his friend. But mostly about how much he misses his dad.

Her aunt Zulema, who is already somewhat old, uses very thick glasses to see clearly, she has a
very large garden full of large trees. She talks about how much she likes gambling and from time to
time she bets with him on the weather and he hopes that at some point she will bet her cinnamon
candy, but it has never happened, not even when they play cards, which is the game. Zulema's
favorite. He goes to visit her almost every day after school, he likes to go because whenever he
looks at her they are both happy and she feeds him chocolates and sweets, sometimes he has to
take turns with his older sister, C.M (Cresencia Marta) , because they are afraid that they might fall
or get hurt because of their age.

He has a friend named Miguel and he believes that he is a very lucky child because he has brothers
and a father who play basketball, since Tomas lost his father when he was only three years old, and
the only thing he knows about his father is that his name was just like him and he had huge hands.

One day when he goes to Aunt Zulema's house, he asks her to read the letters to him, she warns

there because she needs time, when he leaves he lies down and images begin to appear in his
head, he begins to dream and it is death, which apparently is coming for him and death tells him

begins a journey in which he crosses forests full of things that he never imagined existed, he ran
after a jack of cups, a playing card that had previously appeared in his dreams, he had to chase it to
be able to escape from death.

At some point during that journey he was being chased by a giant tiger and the only thing he had
to protect himself was a knife that had been given to him on his father's birthday, skipping the
entire journey that Tomas had to cross, reaching the end crossing a mountain full of snow full of
crystals, but he was already too tired, he wanted to give up and give himself up to death, but he
heard a voice that encouraged him to continue since he was close to reaching "him", he did not
understand who they were referring to but something He told him that maybe it could be his
father so he continued chasing the card and while crossing he realized that it was there, his father
was at the end of the road and he was happy to see him, they hugged and he spoke to the
envelope that was already the man of the house, who should not miss him or feel alone because
he would always be by his side as he has been until now, who is always in his heart. The moment
came when she had to say goodbye to him and she didn't want to, she didn't want to wake up and
return to her reality, a reality in which he wasn't there, she had to accept it and they gave each
other a last hug. When he woke up he realized that he saw colors that he had never seen before
and he knew that dreams are very strong and can come true. His aunt appeared, who knew what
had happened, told him to take a cinnamon candy and she thought of him. , because he told him
